A light and sound installation in Aldgate Square to celebrate the unheard voices of local women over the past 100 years.
This public artwork was accompanied by an exhibition at St Botolph’s Church in of a selection of the handmade banners created for PROCESSIONS.
Hidden Voices: PROCESSIONS in the City was created in collaboration with The Media Workshop as part of the City of London Corporation’s Women: Work and Power season.
The Media Workshop is a digital arts collective producing video content, interactive digital installations and art.

Created from interviews and workshops with women of the Aldgate community, this one-off, immersive artwork explored the history of women in the area, their strength and their contribution to social change.
